Creative Marketing
+ Design Hybrid.

Originally from California, I continue my 13 years of being a Creative Marketing & Design Hybrid Professional in Chicago, Illinois.

Helping build brands and bringing their ideas to life through strategy, creativity and innovation is what I do. There is a difference between creating something beautiful, versus creating something powerful with a human connection through data and strategic design.

I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Graphic Design from the Art Institute of California - Los Angeles. Currently, I work as an Associate Creative Director at Wire Stone, a top 15 independent digital marketing agency partnering with global Fortune 1000 brands.

I honed my print, digital design and marketing skills working with various companies like Conversant (Epsilon / Alliance Data Systems), Specific Media, Myspace, Vindico, Xumo, SiteMeter, FremantleMedia - American Idol Underground, Frontiers Media and Melbert Design Group.

I am a Visionary and agile Problem Solver. I design with simplicity and purpose—I am a perfectionist who doesn’t cut corners, waste pixels or leave details unpolished. Consistency is a common thread throughout my work. Producing work that are as clean, interactive, beautiful as they are effective and crafted to the finest details of the brand’s guidelines is what I strive for. My goal is to provide excellent leadership to my team, and to be the creative partner my organization can count on to deliver excellent Sales & Marketing tools to help drive a stream of continuous revenue and engagement.

TESTIMONIALS

Contact

Joel is the ideal senior art director. He's highly strategic, an innovative creative lead and knows how to build and nurture a brand. We worked together daily and he handled an immense workload. However his attention to detail and overall design strategy never wavered. He constantly was exploring new concepts beyond what was expected.

The entire marketing team views him as as the perfect partner on key marketing projects requiring a designer who thinks high-level strategy; also understands functionality/engagement for our target audience(s) and project objectives.

He's a huge asset to any organization.
